Room: Walls & Ceilings

After seeing numerous examples of using barn wood or pallet wood on walls, we decided it would be a lot easier on ourselves to use unfinished hardwood flooring. Staining the wood was easy since no sanding was required. First we put up 1/4 inch OSB on the wall so we would not have to look for studs while installing the flooring. Then we simply use a finish nailer through the tongue of the hardwood flooring to hold it in place. It all went up very easy with very few minor issues. The end result was better than we expected.

Now let’s see the difference hardwood made in your home.
